Vaccination mandate - tell us what you think!

The below statement is relevant to all Salvation Army volunteers except those in corps activities, Aged Care, Salvos Stores and Community Engagement.

The Salvation Army’s vaccination mandate has played an integral role in providing a safe workplace for our personnel, particularly in our services. Thank you for your support in keeping our workplaces safe for our communities.

As public health measures are being wound back in most states and territories across Australia, it is time for us to consider the next stage of The Salvation Army’s national vaccination procedure.

The Salvation Army has reviewed its risk assessments and for most mission expressions, the level of risk has lowered. The Salvation Army now wishes to consult with our personnel (including volunteers) on whether the current mandate should be revoked, and unvaccinated team members and volunteers can re-engage with us on our mission.

You can do this by responding to a quick and simple online questionnaire by 19 May 2023: https://forms.office.com/r/BXPJ3DKEKg

If you have questions about the questionnaire, please contact covidvaccinehelp@salvationarmy.org.au

Thank you for your support in this matter and for your generous contribution to our mission as a valued volunteer.
