At Merri-bek City Salvos we continue to provide services to individuals and families doing it tough, knowing that we are now needed more than ever.
To ensure that the harmful impacts of the past year's events do not have a long-lasting effect on the most vulnerable in our communities, we need your help.

A place where you belong
The Salvation Army Merri-bek Corps acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we meet and work and pay our respect to Elders past, present and future. Merri-bek Salvos is situated on the ancestral lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people.
We value and include people of all cultures, languages, abilities, sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions and intersex status. We are committed to providing programs that are fully inclusive. We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of people of all ages, particularly children.

Meet our Leadership

Steph has been serving as an officer in both corps and the Community Engagement Department before being appointment to Merri-bek Salvos. Before officership she worked in Community Services with the Salvos and in various sales and people-facing roles. She is passionate about seeing people reaching their full potential and flourishing through the Gospel, and particularly loves getting out into community spaces as a representative of the love of Jesus. Steph has tertiary qualifications in theology and community services.
While a Kiwi by birth to Salvation Army Officer parents, she has lived in Australia for over 20 years. She has two wonderful adult girls, Georgia and Emma who live in Queensland. She is married to Stuart and along with him she lives with ‘King Louis’, a foxy x cattle dog whom she adores.
