We believe in good for you

If you are experiencing financial hardship or are facing a crisis, contact us to find out how we can support you. 
Depending on your situation, and what we have available, we may be able to provide you with vouchers for food, fuel or electricity.
We can also help with referrals to other support services such as addiction rehabilitation centres.

Financial support

For all-year financial support, call us and a team member will have a compassionate conversation with you to understand your needs and let you know what help is available. 

When you phone us, you may be told you're eligible for a voucher and directed to visit us for collection. We are open:

Tuesday, 9am–12pm
Thursday, 9am–12pm

At this time, you may like to speak with our case worker who can work with you on your needs and goals.

Drop-in centre

Tuesday and Thursday, 8am–1pm

Drop in for a safe place to visit, a hot drink and something to eat.

Breakfast is available from 8am-11am. 

Cheese toasties are available from 8am-1pm.

We also have free Wi-Fi, kids toys, puzzles, clothes washing facilities and clothing available.

Financial counselling

The Salvation Army’s free financial counselling service, Moneycare, is here to help you feel in control of your finances. We can work with you to manage your debt, develop new strategies or you may like to explore our free eBook. We can also point you in the right direction for a No Interest Loan.

Our case worker is on site every Tuesday to assist when you are facing complex issues.

She can assist with bill payment, financial issues and advocacy.

Centrelink

Centrelink

Centrelink representatives are at our site every Thursday to advise and direct your online engagement.

They know the best processes and the support that you are entitled to and are more than happy to empower your communication with Centrelink.

Foodbank

Foodbank

Foodbank is at our Community Centre every Tuesday morning.

Foodbank offers a range of product options: grocery staples like sauce bases, pasta, rice and canned meals, assorted frozen products, and free fruit and vegetables.
