The Salvation Army Emergency Services are trained volunteers who provide food and refreshments to emergency response teams, including the SES, police and fire brigade.
All volunteers must complete a one-day SAES Accreditation course before they are eligible to participate. The training day covers how we operate, food safety and how we work with government services. It is a zero-cost event with lunch and refreshments provided.
If you would like to access this service, please call us on 07 5463 3700.
As a Family Store volunteer, you can help with retail duties such as customer service and building displays, general maintenance tasks including repairs and restoration of furniture and appliances and production needs such as sorting donations and tagging and pricing clothing.
