Paddlers Against Poverty

Paddlers Against Poverty is a community of hope.

We are a group of people united by a love of paddling, nature, and the water, who have come together to create a community that truly cares for each other.

We are also passionate about helping others, and do so through an annual fundraising paddle, and other activities.

This is also a space where you can find and experience God as the creator of our world in a very different way.

Paddle Together Against Poverty Fundraiser

Every year, Paddlers Against Poverty hold a fundraising paddle on the Derwent River to support Clarence City Salvos provide "grab and go" lunch packs to eastern shore secondary school students facing hardship and disadvantage.

This year, we've made some exciting changes to the event, making it more accessible to a wider range of paddle experience, fitness, and confidence. There's something in this year's event for just about everyone (over the age of 18).
