We invite kids, youth and young adults to get involved at Carindale Salvos. Please email us with any questions.

Kids, youth and young adults

Unless specified, all activities take place during the school term at Carindale Salvos: 202 Gallipoli Road, Carina Heights. 
Kids’ Church 

Kids’ Church 

Sunday, 9.30am  

We start in family worship together and then kids who are toilet-trained can enjoy a special church service with age-appropriate play, music and Bible stories.  

Parents with younger children are welcome to attend the main service and enjoy the dedicated Kids’ Corner. There is also a change room and quiet playroom if needed.

Kids' playgroup 

Wednesday, 9.30am  
Cost: $3 per child

This is a morning full of fun for young children and their parents or caregivers.    
Toys, activities and morning tea are all provided.   

Mainly Music

Mainly Music

Friday, 9.30am
Cost: $5 per child and $7 per family  

Children aged up to 5 years and their parents and carers are invited to join this playgroup for a fun music program, followed by morning tea.  

Karindale kids dance group

Dance class, primary schoolers  

Wednesday, 5.45–6.45pm 
Cost: Free  

This is a free class for primary school-aged children to learn to dance and have fun together. Check out the dance group in action on YouTube.

Wednesday, 7.15–8pm
Cost: Free 

This is a free class for young adults in grades 8 and above and up to 30 years old. Learn a mixture of styles focusing on contemporary dance. This group performs at various church functions and community events. Check out the dance group in action on YouTube

Revolution Salisbury City Youth outdoor

Friday, 6.30–8.30pm
Cost: $3 per person 

This is an opportunity for high school-aged young people to make meaningful friendships in a safe, welcoming environment. Programs include sporting events, game nights, discos and study groups.  

Carindale brass band

Just Brass program 

This program provides free brass music lessons to children in grades 3–5. It aims to transform the lives of kids through music — and inspire a new generation of musicians to continue the tradition of brass playing in worship.

Wednesday band practice, 3.30–5.15pm  

Young musicians in grades 3–6 are welcome to join band practice to share their love of music with others. We perform four concerts throughout the year. Afternoon tea is included.
