Church Services Recommencing

Are you ready for exciting news: the rules for Stage 3 make it possible for us to get together for worship again!! We will be having in person worship gatherings from Sunday19 July.
Our Worship Services/Gatherings will recommence on Sunday at Bundamba Corps. There will be 2 services:
9:00am - The reason for moving the morning meeting a little earlier is so that we can continue to record our services and make them available to those unable to attend.
5:00pm - For the moment we will have to move the Chapel from Riverview Farm to our hall. The Blackbutt Chapel at Riverview is too small to accommodate our gathering when we have to maintain a 1.5m distance. For the first few weeks (until we get an idea of numbers), I would ask those who usually attend chapel to consider just attending the 5pm service (as well as anyone who would prefer to meet at 5pm.
We will all enter the building through the front doors of the church (including the band). The doors will be open from half an hour before the service to allow people to enter while maintaining a 1.5m distance. At the door you will be met by someone who will gather your details (a tracing requirement) and ensure you are counted entering the facility. Giving your details will be an acknowledgement that you do not have any symptoms associated with COVID (eg fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, sneezing/runny nose or loss of sense of smell), you are not awaiting test results for COVID, had contact with any suspected cases in the past 14 days, and have not returned, or been in contact with anyone who has returned from overseas or a known COVID hotspot in the past 14 days)
Based on the 4m2 rule we are able to have 70 people in our main building and 66 in the downstairs of the Youth Hall. We want to make sure that anyone who is well and wants to come to church can come. So we are planning to have a 9am and 5pm service at the Bundamba hall.
