Sydney Staff Songsters

26 August 2019

On the 7th and 8th September, the Sydney Staff Songsters will be our special guests at Bundamba.  The Sydney Staff Songsters are a choir made up of Salvation Army singers from across Sydney and surrounding regions.  They regularly tour internationally and annually provide leadership for Sydney's Carols in the Domain.  On the Saturday night (7th Sep) the concert will also feature the Orpheus Chorale.  That night will conclude with 2 combined pieces with a massed choir.  If you would like to be part of the massed choir, there will be a workshop held at 3:30pm Saturday.

On Sunday the 8th September, the Staff Songsters will be leading our worship.  Travelling with the Songsters will be Colonel Geanette Seymour who will bring the message.  Throughout her officership, Colonel Seymour, has been the Chief Secretary here in Australia, and also served as the head of the Army's International Social Justice Commission.  The meeting on the 8th will be followed by a fellowship lunch and then a pleasant Sunday afternoon concert starting at 1:30pm which will feature the Staff Songsters as well as our musical sections.  You won't want to miss a minute of this weekend.  It also is a great opportunity to invite family and friends.
