Songsters (choir)
Tuesday rehearsal, 7–8.15pm and Sunday service, 10am
Our choir is open to adults regularly attending Box Hill Salvos who want to worship through singing and community. We present a song each week during our Sunday worship service.
Brass band
Tuesday rehearsal, 8.30–10pm and Sunday service, 10am
Musicians in our community are invited to join our brass band. Band practice is held weekly to rehearse for contributions to our services and the occasional community event.
Worship band
Sunday rehearsal, 8.30–9.15am and service, 10am
Our worship team helps facilitate worship during Sunday meetings. People who regularly attend Box Hill Salvos and want to worship through singing are welcome to join.
Learn to play a brass instrument
Thursday, 7.30–8.30pm and some Sunday services, 10am
Cost: $5 a lesson
People of all ages who wish to learn a brass instrument can join our Learners Band. Band members attend lessons and rehearsals to develop their musical skills and prepare to contribute to Sunday services several times throughout the year.
Sound and multimedia team
For those interested in technology, there are opportunities to volunteer on our sound and multimedia team which supports our worship services and other events when required.
