If you are experiencing financial hardship or are facing a crisis, contact us to find out how we can support you. Depending on your situation, and what we have available, we may be able to provide you with vouchers for food, fuel and electricity.

We can also help with referrals to other support services such as addiction rehabilitation centres.

All-year financial support

For all-year financial support, call us and a team member will have a compassionate conversation with you to understand your needs and let you know what help is available.

This may include posting a voucher to you for food or referring you to another service for case work support.

If you are asked to collect your voucher from Bathurst Salvos, you can do so on a Tuesday or Wednesday between 10am and 12pm.

Financial counselling

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by your finances or are facing a financial crisis — you’re not alone. Support is available through The Salvation Army’s Moneycare financial counselling service.

We can support you with reducing your debt — including credit cards, overdue bills, buy now pay later loans and mortgage payments — and help increase your confidence with managing your money.

Toiletries are provided.
