The Salvos Youth Network spans across NSW, QLD and the ACT. We work towards supporting disconnected, disadvantaged and homeless young people and facilitate pathways towards independence through education and training, accommodation and housing and holistic wrap-around services.
The Salvation Army's highly qualified and experienced staff across its frontline work in partnership with young people who are often facing hardships and challenges. Overcoming these obstacles in life is a priority in our collaborative partnership with young people; we achieve this by working within a Trauma Informed Care therapeutic framework.
We welcome all people, regardless of race, gender, status, or sexual orientation. We understand that a safe space for growth is created when people feel believed, valued, listened to, and respected. In this space, we acknowledge that each person is the expert in their own life. The Salvation Army's Youth Network emphasises safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration and empowerment in every interaction. When these therapeutic elements are present, we believe that young people can achieve their goals and reach their potential.
