Our Community Thrift Shop is a great place to find amazing bargains, quality clothing, essential home items, furniture. You may be surprised at the quality and variety of goods available, so why not give us a try.

Donations

Donations accepted during business hours only.

We only accept good quality clean items, so if you are wanting to donate something that can be recycled in the community make sure it is in good condition, and clean so we don't have to dump items that nobody wants. Donations to the store support the local community.

Supporting the local community

This Thrift Shop is run by the Wyndham City church to provide funding for programs in the local Werribee community. We want to help people so they can have the ability to help others.

Clean items only

Please note we can only accept items in good condition and cannot take items that are unsaleable.

Pick-up of large furniture items

Anyone requiring pick up of large household furniture items should call Salvos Stores 13 SALVOS (13 72 58).

WHAT NOT TO DONATE

Due to Occupational Health and Safety / Duty of Care Legislation, the Thrift Shop cannot accept or offer for sale the following items:

• Stained, torn or broken mattresses and bases
• Stained, torn or broken soft furnishings, including – Lounge suites, chairs, rugs, mats, curtains etc.
• Carpets and Underfelt
• Broken furniture / Incomplete goods
• Computers, printers and associated parts
• Gas, electric or oil heaters
• Gas or electric cook tops or ovens
• Car parts
• Building materials
• Gas bottles and fire extinguishers
• Gas or Electric BBQ
• Commodes
• Motorcycle / Bicycle Helmets
• Baby Cots, Port a Cots, Bassinettes, Playpens, Walkers or High Chairs*
• Children’s car seats, booster seats and baby capsules
• Infants nightwear and jump suits that are not fire rated (must have red fire rating attached)
• Safety belts and children’s restraints
• Swing sets
