Hi Parramatta Salvos, 

This Sunday we celebrate all the wonderful women at Parramatta Salvos. Don't forget that we have one service at 10am this Sunday followed by morning tea.We will continue our new new series Soul Detox, exploring what it means to be changed from the inside out. This series coincides with our first Life Group series for 2022. Host have been contacting group members this week, and we can't wait to start the journey through this series with you in Life Groups.

Volunteer Paperwork
If you were given a volunteer pack a number of weeks ago, please complete the forms and provide your Working With Children Check number ASAP. All volunteer paperwork was due  by the end of April and is essential if you wish to continue to serve at Parramatta Salvos. Please return forms to Ann Lingard, or chat to Sarah if you have any questions about the forms. 

Red Shield Appeal
May is here, which means Red Shield Appeal month is too! At Parramatta Salvos, we are hoping to raise our goal of $50,000 this year. 

To get started, we encourage you to create a Digital Door Knock page and share it over social media. Make sure you join our Parramatta Zone team!

There are also static rosters out now in the church foyer, so please sign up to help collect at one of our many locations. 

We will also be collecting at CommBank Stadium while our band plays before the Eels v Sea Eagles Game on Friday 20 May. If you are willing to help collect on the night, please put your name down on the list in the foyer. 

Combined Youth Event!
On Friday 13 May Parramatta, Shire and Wollongong Youth Teams are collaborating to put on a combined youth event!

All youth and young adults are invited to Menai Salvos at 7pm. 

Parramatta Salvos are taking a bus there and back, so let us know if you're coming by Monday 9 May! RSVP to Jayne at jayne.combremont@salvationarmy.org.au

We will leave Parramatta Salvos at 5:30PM and we'll be back around 10pm.

Movie Night Fundraiser
It's time to register and order pizza for our Movie Night at Parramatta Salvos coming up on Saturday 14 May!

This Mother's Day at church, you will have the chance to vote on the movie!

Happy Birthday to our Mj. Margaret Sanz who turned 80 this week! We hope you had a fantastic day celebrating!

Joyce Offereins
Joyce Offereins would like to thank everyone for their prayers and love since she has been in hospital. She is very appreciative of all the care she is receiving.
