Hi everyone!

As many of you would now be aware, on Tuesday the NSW Government made some changes to their reopening roadmap, pushing some freedoms back to 15 December (or 95% double vaccination rate).

We realise that this could have implications for our own reopening at Parramatta Salvos, however we are awaiting advice from The Salvation Army NSW/ACT Divisional Team. Once we have this information, we will notify you of any changes including groups resuming, Sunday worship and Christmas events. At this stage it is looking like mask-wearing will be in place until 15 December, but as yet we don't think there will be many more changes for us. Thanks for your patience as we navigate changes once again!

This week we continue our series - The Good Work - focusing on the book of Nehemiah. Nehemiah 2:18 (NLT) says, “So they began the good work.” We'll learn over the series what this good work was for Nehemiah, but each one of us has a good work to do. We may not see it yet, but it’s often right there in front of our eyes.

Don't forget that to go along with this series we have a devotional booklet that you can follow along with in your quiet time, and we've also included some "talk-it-over" sheets that correspond to each message in this four week series. We encourage you to gather with your family or a group of friends on a Sunday, watch the online service together and spend time reflecting on these questions.

Bless you each as you continue to love and serve,

Kylie & Sarah
(Corps Officer Team)
