Officers Fellowship
Kylie & Sarah were scheduled to be attending Officers Fellowship this coming week in the Blue Mountains. Unfortunately, fellowship in person for 2021 has been cancelled and rescheduled for March 2022.

Instead, on Tuesday 31 August, Kylie and Sarah will be attending Officers Fellowship online for the day. We invite you to pray for all officers and corps leaders across the NSW/ACT Division on this day as they meet for a time of teaching and renewal. 

Sydney-Wide Combined Youth Games Night
All youth are invited to join the COMBINED YOUTH ZOOM GAMES NIGHT tonight from 7pm-8pm! Join with youth and leaders across Sydney for a bit of Hawaiian fun!

Prayer Meeting
Our prayer meetings will continue throughout the month of September. All are welcome to join us this coming Wednesday night from 7pm-8pm. Everyone is invited to join, reflect and pray together as we take a look at Week 2 of the Territorial Prayer Focus - "One in purpose and mission". It would be helpful if you have a copy of the prayer resource booklet for our meeting.

Tri Territorial Mission Webinar 
Everyone is invited to attend the second Tri Territorial Mission Webinar for 2021.

Preceding the first webinar in June, this session will focus on The Salvation Army's public voice in civil society - work, poverty and advocating for a better normal.

Registrations are now open for the webinar scheduled for Thursday 2 September at 5pm Sydney time (8am London time and 7pm Wellington time).

We are excited to welcome Captain (Dr) John Clifton from the UK who will speak on his work with Citizens UK, an alliance of organisations to campaign for the common good at local, regional, and national levels.

The interactive webinar will consist of a 40-minute keynote, with time for a Q&A to finish.

Birthday Celebrations! 🥳

Jeff Parker turned 50 last week. Happy Birthday, Jeff - we hope you had a fantastic day!

Bruce Gough turns 90 on 1 September - join us in wishing Bruce a very happy birthday! 

Tenancy Update 
We are excited to announce that works will commence on the Level 2 Tenancy in the coming month (as restrictions permit). Staff from Eva Burrows College, who will be renting the office space, are hoping to move in in November. We can't wait to have the staff and students of EBC in our building soon!

We have also had some positive 'bites' this week regarding Shops 1 and 2 on the ground level! We will give a formal update as soon as leasing agreements have been confirmed, however, we are excited that there is interest and we ask that you continue to pray for successful leasing of the shops. 

Beryl Drury
Please continue to pray for Beryl who this week has transferred to Estia Aged Care. We are glad that Beryl no longer needs hospital care, however, we continue to pray for Beryl in this time of transition. 

Elwyn Humbley
Please keep Elwyn in your prayers this week as he is struggling with some health issues.
