Virtual Morning Tea

Parramatta Salvos Band Catch Up

Prayer Meeting

Exploring The Salvation Army 
We are excited to announce that we will be holding 'Exploring The Salvation Army' classes at Parramatta Salvos in October/November 2021. These classes are for anyone seeking a better understanding of who we are as The Salvation Army and what we believe. These classes will explore our organisation and our doctrines, with opportunity for participants to become soldiers or adherents. Even if you don't think soldiership is for you, we encourage participation in these classes to gain a better understanding about who we are and what we believe. 

We will be running two groups - young adults (16-30 year olds) and adults (30 and above). To express interest, please get in touch with Sarah. 

Divisional Lockdown Challenge Looking for something fun to do in lockdown? Why not head over to The Salvation Army NSW & ACT Division Facebook page, give them a follow and take part in the Divisional Lockdown Challenge! Get those creative juices flowing over the month of August and participate in the weekly challenges. At the end of each challenge you could win an UberEats voucher!

Giving during lockdown
Thank you to the many people who contribute financially to our corps by giving their weekly tithe via direct debit. If you are interested in transitioning to giving in this way, our bank details are below.

For those who give via envelopes, please hold on to these until we meet in person once again. As all staff are working from home, we cannot count money on site. We believe it is safest that you hold on to your tithes and offerings rather than dropping them in until we are able to have people back in the office completing regular banking. 

EQUIP NSW - Cancelled
This week our Territorial Youth Team made the difficult decision to cancel Equip 2021. This will come as a huge disappointment to so many of our young people. We ask that you join us in praying for the youth, young adults and leaders who will be processing this very sad news over the coming days.  

Marie Corkett
Please pray for Marie Corkett who has been in hospital this week. Pray for quick results for Marie, and for God's peace at this time as family and friends can't visit. 

Ken Drysdale
Please pray for Ken who has been taken to ICU this week with an infection in his lungs. We also pray for his fiancé, Diane Hardy at this difficult time.
