Rural Chaplains

Life on the land and in rural and remote communitites can be tough at the best of times. Our rural chaplains are there to provide support to individuals, families and communitites through both the good times and the tough.

Our rural chaplains are available to visit you and provide emotional, spiritual and/or physical help. From hosting commnity building and connection activities to practical support on the farm or even sitting down for a cuppa and a chat, our chaplains are there and willing to lend a hand in any way they can.

Our local Rural Chaplains across the Orana Region are Rusty & Di Lawson and are locals to this area with many years experience in chaplaincy in both the Defence Feorces and in Rural communities. Not only can they come and provide assistance but they can also link you in to other supports to ensure that you are supported in the best way possible.
