About their Support

In 1993, the Shopfront Youth Legal Centre was established in Sydney’s inner city. The shopfront is a free legal service for homeless and disadvantaged young people aged 25 and under. It was NSW’s first specialist legal service for homeless people and also an early example of a successful business and community collaboration.

It is now a three-way joint venture between Herbert Smith Freehills, Mission Australia and The Salvation Army; who have been part of the program since 1997.
