Christmas Party for our Young People

As another year comes to a close, Oasis, in partnership with Virgin Active, Virgin Mobile and Virgin Wines hosted another brilliant Christmas Party for the young people at Oasis. The day was a huge success; judged purely by the smiles on the faces of the young people.

At Oasis, we strive to ensure that Christmas can be a time of joy for our young people, and we are truly fortunate to have a so many supporters that feel the same way.

Our friends at Virgin Mobile, Wines and Active took the Hawaiian theme quite literally. The Oasis car park was filled with music, a mechanical surfboard ride, delicious food and sweets, a beauty parlour and a Virgin Tiki Bar, serving fruit punch and snow cones. 

Remembering that no Christmas is complete without a Santa Photo, our young people could also head inside to sit on Santa’s knee or the nearby surfboard for a picture.

On top of our Virgin supporters, a group of local hairdressers provided sharp new “dos” for our young people and Oasis offered new and fashionable clothes as gifts – all donated from a range of supporters, including Glue Store and General Pants Co. throughout the year. With these donations we are able to offer our young people stylish items of clothing that, much like a new haircut, allow our young people to have pride in their appearance.

Oasis is truly fortunate to have such great supporters who understand the importance of providing our young people with opportunities to create wonderful Christmas memories – so we would like to thank them for the amazing job!
