While as a nation we face a new crisis with coronavirus (COVID-19), we are still standing by those who were affected by the devastating bushfires of recent times.
Since our first response to the bushfires in September 2019, thanks to your support, we have distributed more than $18.8 million in direct financial payments to 10,500 Australians.
A further $6 million worth of services and support was also spent during our emergency response, which included meals, refreshments, material aid and care packs.
As our teams continue to distribute funds to help the long-term recovery of bushfire affected communities, we want to once again recognise and thank the incredible efforts of the first responders.
