Get involved
Your school has the opportunity to support the work of The Salvation Army in a number of ways.
Fundraise
Giving is a feel-good thing. By fundraising for us you can spread that feeling around. You can help us, help people who come to The Salvation Army for assistance every year.
Even if you're not able to donate money, there are a number of ways you can help us raise the funds we need to deliver our programs. The best part is, you can use your imagination and choose how you would like to contribute.
Organise your own fundraising event
At school you can hold an event such as a Salvos' School Red Day, a sausage sizzle, a school concert, a cake stall, or anything else you can think of. Feel free to invite a representative from The Salvation Army to come and speak at your school to promote the event.
Give a few hours, help thousands of people
Our Red Shield Appeal is held every year during the month of May. Students can participate in a number of different ways.
Volunteer
Volunteering is a great and easy way to get involved. We can help you find a local opportunity to get your school involved. To find out more or enquire about volunteering, please email schooltours@aus.salvationarmy.org
