Family Reconciliation Initiative

SalvoCare Eastern Working with young people and their families to encourage better communication and problem solving.

This program aims to assist young people 14-21 years resolve and re-establish relationships with their family and others who play an important role in their lives. The program is available to young people in Bass Coast, South Gippsland and Wellington regions.

This program may include counselling/mediation, a return to home or assistance to relocate to extended family and significant others where appropriate.

The program aims to prevent young people from entering into a cycle of homelessness as a result of family breakdown. We aim to intervene in the initial crisis, assist in resolving conflict by working with their family and encourage better communication and problem solving.
