There is a daily fee of $4 per session to cover tea, coffee and biscuits.

Work undertaken – mainly woodwork:

  1. Work for Salvos – repairing donated furniture for resale (saving of dumping costs).
  2. Work for outside organisations – eg kindy’s – making and repairing children’s furniture / toys (Hence the need for the police check).
  3. Work for shed fund raising – making wooden toys and kids furniture for sale at selected local fairs and markets.
  4. Private projects – bring your own materials or pay for materials supplied by the shed (note goods manufactured are not for private resale / profit).

Skill level – no previous workshop experience necessary but need a willingness to learn.

Safety – All members are trained on the safe use of equipment and new members will have restricted machinery use until fully trained.
