Supporting parents and caregivers gives each child the best chance in life to thrive! Whether your kids are going well, school is a real struggle or finances are tight, there are ways we can support you.

We can help you understand the different things you can do to look after yourself in a busy life stage; support your confidence when you're hearing conflicting advice about raising children; or improve your partner or marriage relationship so that you can be there for your kids, together. We also regularly help people to connect with other helpful services or supports.

Our courses are held in a way that is non-judgmental with facilitators who really listen. Our relationships course is held in a 'date night' style so that you can focus on your partner, without a facilitator getting in the way!

We love chatting to parents. If you have a question or concern, or just need a chat - give us a call and catch up with a facilitator over coffee!

Common questions and concerns about our relationships course

Our relationship is aleady going fine.

Just like you'd take your car for a service - or service it at home - to make sure it continues running smoothly, our course is helpful whether your relationship is going well - or struggling!

We can work on our relationship at home.

We're sure you can! Will you?

We can't be the only ones who have had great intentions to work on something at home disappear after a few weeks - let us look after dinner (and the dishes!) so you can focus on your relationship.

What if I'm not religious?

Our course has been modified to be inclusive and respectful of people from all religious backgrounds, or no religion at all. It's held in a church building, but set up a little like a cafe... we don't think it will feel like other experiences you may have had of church.

What if I/my partner doesn't want to share in a group?

We don't either.

Marriage, and the topics we discuss, are personal to you. The great results from this course happen when it's just the two of you, having the chance to discuss your relationship. If you do need help, we'll wait for you to ask - we're happy to chat, and to recommend a counsellor that suits your budget if that's what you need.

My partner is unsure about coming along.

We suggest sending this link to them which answers some common questions and concerns. If this doesn't address their concern or question, either one of you is so welcome to contact us and we'll do our best to find a solution that works for you!

Why are you holding a relationships course?

Great relationships make people healthier, happier, and help them work together. If there are kids in the relationship, great relationships also help kids thrive!

A big concern of our community is the rise in mental ill health and Domestic and Family Violence. These can occur in unhealthy relationships, so we believe supporting positive relationships helps protect our community and promote safety.
