Program / Expression Review

The Program-Expression review is about seeing every area of ministry we’re in at its missional best. We want to see momentum forward for everything we do and part of this is developing plans and direction for our programs and expressions. We are in a diverse number of areas and want to be aligned closely with our core mission. The principles underlying this review process are to have everything we do as missionally focused, community relevant, delivery strong and financially sustainable.  To help guide this process we are developing a decision making framework to help us focus and strengthen decisions.

To get an idea of how this framework is developing we have created an information sheet on what is known as our 5 tests. Click on the link below

Ultimately, we want to be at our best, working together to be who The Salvation Army was meant to be so we can best help those who need us the most. This will require courage, wisdom, unity, and an ongoing reliance on the Holy Spirit.

  1. Sometimes the 5 test criteria cannot be fully met, but the opportunity to experiment or pilot an initiative can subsequently provide the confirmation or otherwise for the proposal.
