Court & Prison Services

If you or someone you know is facing the court and prison system, it can feel quite overwhelming. We have a range of programs and services to provide support.

When help is hard to come by

The prospect of court or prison can be incredibly daunting and confusing. Having someone to talk to, to support you and to help you understand the process you’re about to go through, can make a huge difference.

Our chaplains are available at every court and most major prisons. They’ll talk you through the process, let you know what to expect, and direct you to other helpful services so you can be best prepared for what’s to come. Services such as counselling, rehabilitation, prison programs and family support can help you through, and remind you that you’re not alone.

Making positive connections

First we’ll listen to your concerns, evaluate your needs and offer support. This may be in the form of legal referral, reaching out to friends and family members, or discussing rehabilitation options. If you’re facing time in prison, we can provide support for your family members, counselling, and recreation and entertainment activities.

Our post-release services can help with things such as navigating the parole process, further counselling, and setting up social and support networks. Employment Plus can help you find work, and our Positive Lifestyle Program can assist with the transition back into your community – arming you with the skills you need to thrive.
