About Us

Drop In and say geday

We would like to welcome you to come along the journey with us; A place where you can connect with a family of people and have a sense of belonging. We are a people of faith committed to loving God and others in creative and tangible ways. We achieve this through meeting together each week (Sunday, 10am), remaining in contact with each other through the week (in small groups), private prayer and study, and community involvement.

Community Involvement

Our community involvement includes a range of activities that care for people and work for justice such as our Drop-in centre, thrift shop  and emergency relief program. One of the new services that we look to offer the community is that of  Flying Padre. Once funded this would allow us to reach outback people that would not normally enjoy The Salvation Army Services.

Flying Padre - Sponshorship Required

We are looking for sponsorship from businesses or individuals to fund the Flying Padre Service. If you are able to help or know someone who could help we would like to hear from you. The Flying Padre visits remote cattle stations and communities for pastoral care, weddings, dedications, funerals, friendship, counselling and other practical help. Many people in remote areas do not have the opportunity to receive support from a minister during life's circumstances. We endeavour to provide support to families and remote communities in Western Australia and further a field. If you would like more information please visit The Salvation Army Flying Padre in Katherine NT.

We meet regularly as a faith community to encourage one another, to learn, and to worship together. When you come to our Sunday morning celebration (Sunday: 10am) you will hear great music from our worship band, perhaps view interesting media, hear a short inspirational scripture message, your children will be invited to join in fun activities with other children. You will meet friendly people over refreshments. There is no requirement to wear anything different than when you visit a friend’s house. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions or perhaps be prayed for, if you desire. You will not be singled out but you will be warmly welcomed.

We have activities for all ages including children's teaching, Bible study, Social gatherings (CAMEO) and more.
