Emergency Relief Program

What we aim to do: To provide a service that contributes to addressing emergency situations that impact on our clients.  To provide a response that is non-judgmental, culturally sensitive and non-discriminatory.

The service aims to provide support and material assistance to families and individuals experiencing financial difficulty and in immediate crisis.

Who is eligible? People who have encountered short term financial difficulty.
People who require advocacy assistance with utility and phone companies.

Location of services: West Hume Area, including Greater City of Shepparton and the Shires of Moria, Mitchell, Murrindini and Strathbogie.

More about this service: To assess & assist client to resolve their financial difficulties, where possible. We aim to reconcile with debtors on the clients behalf and broker an acceptable outcome for both parties.
