FREE HOMEWORK HELP and TUTORING

TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY

DURING THE SCHOOL TERM

3pm — 5:00pm FOR YRS K-6

In the beginning of February at the start of the school year the Campsie Corps opened a free After School Club focusing on helping primary aged school children with their homework, while providing them a safe environment to come to after school.  After a few weeks the number of children regularly attending grew from 15 to over 50.  With such an overwhelming response from the community the program shifted to also providing tutoring in math and in reading as well.  Upon arrival every child receives a free snack, and each child has the opportunity to work on a laptop which is provided for homework assistance or for games.

Our "Campsie After School Homework" (C.A.S.H.) Club also provides refreshments for the chidren (and often the Mums) as they arrive from School. We have a number of Chromebook laptop devices for the kids to use as well. (Funding provided by the Campsie RSL Club in 2016).

At the end of each Term, we typically hold a "Games" afternoon with lots of fun for everyone...even some of the Mums!
