Collections Service (2nd hand goods)

COLLECTIONS

OUR HOME COLLECTION SERVICE WILL RECOMMENCE ON 1ST JUNE 2020.  BOOKINGS CAN BE MADE FROM MONDAY 25TH MAY.

The Salvation Army collects second-hand items that are in full working order and sellable condition.  To arrange a collection, please contact (07) 4051 8315 between 9:00 am - 3:00 pm weekdays.

As a general rule, we can accept anything that can be used inside or outside a home, with the following exclusions as a guideline:

• White goods exceeding 5 years of age
• Mattresses with rips or stains
• Lounge suites with rips or stains
• Used carpet
• Free standing organs
• Ovens, stoves and dishwashers
• Appliances that do not work
• Fixed items such as built in cupboards, ceiling fans, casement windows, doors
• Swimming pools
• Wire based bed frames
• Gas bottles
• Water beds
• Encyclopedias
