Junior Soldier Training

12 January 2011

On January 10th 2011 The Salvation Army Bellarine Peninsula took 6 boys from St Leonards on a day long intensive on what it means to be a Junior Soldier of The Salvation Army.

A Junior Soldier is a follower of Jesus and a junior member of The Salvation Army, that makes a unique promise to live a life clean in thought, word, and deed.

During this intensive these six boys were taken through the promise step by step and taught about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

Lieutenants Peter and Diane Hobbs hope to hold another Junior Soldier intensive in the next few weeks, and enrol them in February.
