Pakistan Flood Appeal

3 September 2010

On Saturday the 9th of October The Salvation Army Bellarine Peninsula participated in the Pakistan Floods Appeal. So far the Army in Southern Australia has raised over $110,000. In three hours on the saturday morning just over $800 was raised to contribute to the appeal.

The Shop was buzzing with customers, live music, and a huge range of beads. We'd like to thank the Op Shop Manager Gill Fryer and her terrific team of hard working and committed volunteers, who worked above and beyond their regular work hours to prepare bead packs for sale. Their hard work paid off, as it was the best Saturday morning sales for this financial year, which all go to the appeal.

If you weren't able to get to the shop and you'd like to support the appeal then you till have an opportunity to support the appeal by donating online.
