Red Shield Appeal Fundraising Concert

This year the Bellarine Salvos and their Open Air Music Program are organising a Fundraising Concert to support The Salvation Army's Red Shield Appeal. This innaugral experiencial event is an excellent way to support young music talent and listen to some of the best professional and student musicians from around Australia.

As a song writer, vocal coach and an international recording artists; her songs written with renowned raw soul and funk band "Deep Street Soul" has been broadcast and received great reviews worldwide from USA, Europe, Japan to Australia. Her songs have aired on BBC Radio(UK), Triple J, ABC National, PBS, 3RRR and Mangrook Footy Show on SBS.

Joe Cocker complimented on her performance "You got a lotta soul!" and Danni Minogue from X Factor said "You definitely can sing".

In her many years performing; she has performed for Joe Cocker, Danni Minogue, Natalie Bassingwaite, Ronan Keating, Red Foo, Human Nature, Jon Stevens, Billie Joe and performed with international musicians who have worked in "Hey Hey It's Saturday” and with Kate Ceberano, James Morrison, Leo Sayers, Savage Gardens just to name a few.

In 2017; May embarks on a solo career as well as mentoring future aspiring singers into developing their career into music industry with her M.A.D programme; a unique Mentoring Artist Development Programme designed for singers.

Luke Howard is an amazing composer and pianist from Melbourne, who creates amazing soundscapes and experiences. His inaugural solo album, ‘Sun, Cloud’, was nominated for the 2013 Australian Music Prize. His second solo album, ‘Two Places’ is out April 2016.
Luke recently signed with UK label Mercury KX, home to Lambert, Ólafur Arnalds and Solomon Grey. Live, Luke is joined by drummer and long-time collaborator Daniel Farrugia.
