Once again, The West Australian Newspaper and The Salvation Army are joining forces to provide an opportunity to support the work of The Salvation Army for the whole month of June being the first month of winter. During the month, there will be a number of real life stories about experiences where people have needed the help of The Salvos and the services provided. Now in its third year, The West Australian and The Salvation Army have provided an insight into significant social issues in our community and how the support of the public is impacting on the lives of individuals who for what ever reason find they need help in times of crisis.
The Salvation Army is looking to reach its financial goal of almost $8m in Western Australia and this month of June is the final opportunity to support The Salvos in this financial year. Please see the link below for financial donations. Other support is also most appreciated like non perishable food which enables us to provide basic food support. Below is a list of locations these items can be taken into. Clothes donations can be made through the below link to Salvo Stores.
All donations help us greatly in providing the services to over 100,000 people in Western Australia every year.
Please support The West Winter Appeal by making a financial donation or contributing clothes, blankets or food.
