TOP END DRUG & ALCOHOL SERVICES

RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION PROGRAMME

  • Provides Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation within the framework of a Christian organisation
  • Believes in a holistic approach to recovery
  • Is a 15 week program for men( residential or non-residential) and women (non-residential)
  • Provides counselling, case management, and referrals / assistance to other networks
Group sessions include topics such as:
  • Harm minimization
  • Communication
  • Boundaries
  • Growth group
  • 12 steps
  • Relationships
  • Self esteem
  • Positive lifestyle
  • Anger management
  • Stress management
  • Recovery
  • Relapse prevention

WITHDRAWAL PROGRAMME

  • The programme offers a safe and supportive environment in which to undertake withdrawal from drugs and/or alcohol
  • Available for adult males
  • Referrals are made by Darwin Withdrawal Services - phone (08) 8948 0087
  • Is a 5 to 7 day program

AFTERCARE

  • A service offered to those who have gone through the rehabilitation programme.
  • Clients can receive support, advice and practical assistance in finding accommodation, setting up a household, connecting with groups and the community.
  • Regular contact is maintained through visits by the after care worker
