Evonne Goolagong Cawley lends her support to the Salvos

The Salvation Army is delighted to have Evonne Goolagong Cawley as the representative of their Wills & Bequests campaign.

Evonne's support was enlisted in April 2001 for a two-year period.

Winner of two Wimbledon Crowns, four Australian Opens, and a champion of the French Open, Evonne personifies the campaign's motto, "A Will to Achieve".

"Few people realise what a strong will to achieve I've always had. And now I have another will to achieve -- my last Will and Testament. I've included the Salvos in my will to help all Australians battling against poverty, homelessness and hunger."

Bequests made to The Salvation Army are used for capital development projects, and Evonne has included the Salvos in her will so that Australians will continue to be assisted in years to come.
