Few lives are untouched by the major social problems associated with alcohol and drugs today.
Addiction affects people from all walks of life. Our 100 addiction and recovery services provide programs for adults right through to children as young as 12 years old.
We have a range of programs that cater to those with drug and alcohol addictions, including detox and residential rehabilitation programs, counselling and outreach programs.
Some of our addiction recovery services are spiritually based, following the mission and values of our organisations. Many feature positive lifestyle classes, work therapy and social activities as well as counselling for the client and their family members to aid the process of recovery.
Each year, The Salvation Army provides more than 25,000 episodes of care to clients through our treatment programs, with many thousands more supported through our network of services.
We’re committed to bringing hope, healing and wholeness to people adversely affected by alcohol and other drugs. We want to provide opportunity for recovery and to lead a fulfilling life into the future.
