Barrington Lodge is administered by The Salvation Army which is a Christian organisation. It seeks to demonstrate the core values of human dignity, justice, hope, compassion and community.

It has always provided care for others in need without discrimination, regardless of their personal, financial and medical circumstances.

Services provided

Barrington Lodge is home to 77 residents, and all have a single room with ensuite facilities. The Director of Aged Care leads the team that includes nursing and care staff, leisure and lifestyle, administration, maintenance and service employees. We also have a chaplain who ministers to the residents and offers companionship and support.

Eligibility

People who have been formally assessed by an authorised ACAT (aged care assessment team) agency as being eligible for aged care support are eligible to access Salvation Army residential aged care, depending on availablity.

ACAT is a Commonwealth funded program which assists older people and their carers identify what kind of care will best meet their needs.
