What we offer

At The Salvation Army, people of all ages and backgrounds  feel they can belong and participate in healthy community activities. We offer a  place where you can connect with a family of people and have a sense of  belonging. A place where you can begin to enjoy all that God has for you; a place where everyone has an opportunity to contribute positively within the community.

Our Programmes

Below we have listed some of the activities available at our Corps.

A fun 30-minute music session for families with toddlers and pre-schoolers. Enjoy an interactive session of music and movement, followed by morning tea, where adults can chat and 'recharge their batteries' while children play.

Women's Friendship Hour

All women are invited to come to friendship hour. Enjoy a time of chatting over a cuppa and make deep friendships.

Men's Breakfast

Come along for a delicious cooked breakfast, enjoy guest speakers and make connections with other men.

Craft

Come along to a fun craft time. Only need to pay for the cost of the materials. Meet other like minded people and enjoy the craft making together.

Stitching for Pleasure

Bring your quilting project along to this group, make new friends while enjoying your craft.

Court Support

The prospect of court or prison can be incredibly daunting and confusing. Our chaplains are available to talk you through the process, and direct you to other helpful services so you can be best prepared for what’s to come, so you’re not alone.

Emergency Relief

Emergency Relief is a community services program seeking to provide short-term support through the allocation of food parcels and vouchers, advocacy and counselling.

A series of one-to-one sessions which run over a eaight week period addressing topics such as: Self Awareness, Anger, Depression, Stress, Grief, Assertiveness, Self Esteem and Future Directions.
