Creating Dreams Nominations

In 2011, the Creating Dreams project had 12 nominations approved - two of these nominations were community members and 10 were young people engaged with Westcare services. These grants helped fund school supplies, work wear and car insurance, recreational activities, musical equipment, hairdressing equipment, iPads and other electronics, and a bicycle.

Creating Dreams was honoured to recognise the achievements of our young people and to observe the difference that these awards made in their lives.

Applications are to be completed by persons employed in the Community Service Sector. Once your nomination has been received, it will be assessed by the Executive Committee who will then notify you accordingly.

The Creating Dreams project can be used for:

  • Recognising the achievements of individuals who have achieved results that could be considered extraordinary
  • Providing opportunties for individuals who have achieved something that is significant to them and/or the community despite adversity
