Class empowers women

A Shepparton-based dojo opened its doors to victims of domestic violence on Saturday, offering a free three-hour self-defence class.

About 18 women supported by Shepparton Salvation Army’s Salvocare attended the session at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in Kialla.


Bedding help for homeless

A Shepparton-based business has continued to dig deep for the Salvation Army, this week donating 40 backpack beds for the district’s homeless.
