Music for adults and children

Music at Ringwood Corps

The Salvation Army has a rich history of music and is recognised worldwide for its brass bands and choirs whose aim is to proclaim the Christian message through music. As well as this we also offer music lessons and opportunities to children who would not necessarily be able to learn an instrument. Music is a wonderful way to help children develop their skills.

As well as enhancing motor skills, children learn literacy and numeracy, and enjoy singing new songs and old favourites.  The mainly music session is followed by morning tea, where adults can chat and ‘recharge their batteries’ while children play.
