At The Salvation Army, people of all ages and backgrounds feel they can belong and participate in healthy community activities. We offer a place where you can connect with a family of people and have a sense of belonging. A place where you can begin to enjoy all that God has for you; a place where everyone has an opportunity to contribute positively within the community.

Worship at Ringwood Corps

Worship

The Salvation army is a Christian movement dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus in creative and tangible ways. We meet together each week to worship, pray and learn. A number of  service times are available including worship in Mandarin.

Prayer meetings help us connect with God, and are a vital ingredient to the ongoing spiritual and holistic development of ourselves and the church.

Pastoral CarePastoral Care

We are committed to caring for the whole person, and a dedicated team heads up our Pastoral Care Ministry who prayerfully seek ways to see everyone at our church genuinely loved, cared for and supported. Phone 03 9870 0720

HomegroupLife Groups

A friendly and encouraging small group who meet regularly to develop authentic friendships, apply the Bible to daily living, care for one another and have fun together.

Byways community lunchByways Lunch

Gold coin donation luncheon every week from February till December. Two courses served for 80-100 guests. Morning tea from 11am Wednesday

If you have found yourself in a difficult financial situation or other hardship we are here to assist. With a listening ear, practical helps such as food hampers, vouchers, and advocacy.

Tired of being in difficult financial situations? Needing to break free? We provide counselling that can assist you to start on a road to financial freedom.

Positive Lifestyle Program

Positive Lifestyle Program

The program aims to increase participant's quality of life through one-on-one or group encounters between particitpants and facilitators. Individuals work through ten psycho-educational booklets. By appointment 9870 0720

Sally's Boutique

Sally's Boutique

Preloved clothing, bric-a-brac and furniture for very reasonable prices - most items of clothing are just $2.50.  All goods are donated locally from Ringwood residents, and all proceeds go to the ongoing work of The Salvation Army in Ringwood.

Womens ministryWomen's Ministry

Come and enjoy friendship and laughter with other women. Make new friends and be encouraged by the support of others. Some of the programs available include, Bible Study, Outings, Craft, Home League and Friendship Incorporated. Find out more.

The active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of winning, growing, and training God's man in Christ.  Various events

Ringwood Brass Band practise weekly and are involved in the weekly worship services and other concerts.

Vocal PraiseVocal Praise

Vocal Praise is a choir of adult men and women who sing in worship meetings and regularly present at concerts. If you have an interest in and/or knowledge of music and would like to know more call the leader Neil Roper

Craft

All ages come together to express and share their creative skills in all kinds of craft, from quilts to sewing, to card and necklace making. Bring along your own craft and join other like-minded people, with a delicious morning tea. Free first visti, gold coin following visits. 10am–12pm Thursday

SportSport

Men’s & Women's Basketball and Cricket

Looking to join a sport team? The Ringwood Salvos Basketball teams play at Box Hill on Monday evenings.
The Ringwood Salvos Cricket team plays competition cricket on Saturday afternoon during cricket season.

Book Club

Book Club

Members meet usually in a private home to read and discuss both non-fiction and fiction books in a friendly environment. Look out for a notice of club meetings in the Church weekly news bulletin.
7pm last Monday every second month
