Community Service Support

What the Community Support Service can offer...

Regular supports to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

Access to appropriate practical assistance to assist with immediate needs in relation to crisis.

A Key Worker providing support with clear guidelines and/or case plan established, who will work with you as you achieve your goals.

Information, resourcing and referral to other services.

A service that respects privacy and confidentiality.

A service committed to contributing on a local and regional level to the initiatives addressing issues that impact on homelessness.

A service response that:

  • is non-judgemental 
  • is culturally sensitive 
  • is flexible
  • is non-judgemental
  • is non-discriminatory
  • encourages self reliance

How is contact made to the Community Support Service?

Office hours are 9.00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.   Contact can be made by phoning (03) 5833 1099 or by coming into the office in person.  A worker will discuss your situation with you, and assist you in exploring appropriate options.  If the service is unable to assist you directly, or is not appropriate for you, the worker will assit you in making contact with other suitable services.
