(Mother's Emergency Accommodation)
Emergency accommodation is provided for women with children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, for up to eight weeks.
All clients accessing emergency accommodation are engaged in a case plan that the service user and caseworker create together.
Support will centre around housing options. It will also include debt repayment, transport, or arranging transport, and appropriate information and/or referral to any other required support. The needs of accompanying children will also be looked at and referral made to our children's support worker if needed.
Karinya has eight accommodation units at Parker Place and another in the community which is used for both emergency accommodation and for Program MaC
