Adult Services employs approximately 200 permanent staff in a wide range of positions and in varying locations.
Staff have many opportunities to pursue ongoing learning within their specific area of expertise and also more generally. We encourage staff to continue to learn and to apply knowledge and skills in all aspects of work and program development.
We offer generous salary packaging in addition to the base salary rate stated in the position description, which is available for community organisations under taxation legislation. This allows staff to package some of their income, before tax, to pay expenses, such as rent and bills. The tax saving significantly increases the take-home pay.
Rostered days off (RDOs) are available to staff who work full time Monday to Friday.
The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer and Adult Services is committed to providing a safe, harmonious and productive work environment. We are aware of the challenges of managing work and family responsibilities and offer access to a range of leave and alternative work arrangements.
We value professional development, quality supervision and best practice within the sector.
