The Salvation Army, Communities for Children are holding a Safety Expo at the Brighton Civic Centre on Thursday 21st of November from 10:30am until 2.00pm. We aim to educate children and their families in a range of areas concerning safety.
There will be activities for the children, an art display by the Break the Silence End the Violence Advocacy Group, guest speaker, Brett Lee, will speak on internet safety and cyberbullying, as well as a variety of displays about all aspects of safety. There will be take-home information and give aways, along with a free BBQ. Schools are invited to send groups of students in grades 3-6 to attend on the day.
