FiF logo  is a functional literacy program created by The Salvation Army’s STeP123 program intended to encourage an individual's recognition of their potential for creating, communicating and learning. Participants work within a small group in an informal and relaxed environment.

FiF logo include practical exercises to help identify a person's literacy needs and hints on filling in forms on paper, online and email attachments.

There are two  FiF logo where individuals are encouraged to participate fully to create a shared experience. Based on a 'train the trainer' model, the workshops are aimed at workers, volunteers and community members who would like to help someone with literacy needs.
