DISTINCTIVE WORSHIP

The Salvation Army's primary motivation in providing practical social service comes from a spiritual base: its first purpose is to share the Gospel of Jesus with people of all ages.

Every weekend church services at The Salvation Army Darwin Corps endeavour to lead people into worship and present the message of Jesus Christ.

All the elements in the service work together and we use a variety of means to communicate the Gospel message through music (traditional and contemporary), drama, and the Bible message.

YOUTH GROUP

For high school aged youth every second Friday evening.

A variety of other small groups exist at the corps, contact us for more information.

SMALL GROUPS

In small groups, our church attempts to connect people relationally (four to eight individuals) for the purpose of getting to know God and others in the church. These groups may be held weekly or fortnightly and cover a variety of subjects that deal with Christianity. These groups look at what the Bible says about life. They provide fun, fellowship and support.

A PLACE FOR EVERYONE

In addition to church services, The Salvation Army provides an extensive range of recreational and support activities for all age groups. Many are specifically designed to appeal to youth, children or the elderly. “Connections” on Fridays between 10am and 2 p.m. offers a place for any who want a place to relax with some recreational activities, or find new friends, or need a listening ear.
