The Salvation Army Crossroads is a network of services working with youth and families in the Melbourne Central Division of the Australian Southern Territory. We provide an integrated response to the needs of young people and families, as well as women and children experiencing family violence, homelessness, and other forms of structural disadvantage or dislocation. In addition, we offer a suite of counselling services including financial counselling, gamblers help, sexual assault and generalist counselling.
A wide range of programs are provided across the service including:
- Early intervention/prevention
- Crisis and transitional case management, support and advocacy
- Crisis, transitional and longer term housing
Crossroads services are primarily focussed in the North and West of regions of Melbourne including the municipalities of Melbourne, Moreland, Moonee Valley, Whittlesea and Hume. In addition, some services have a statewide scope (including Tranmere Street Youth Refuge, Melbourne Counselling Service, and Mary Anderson Family Violence Service). Our services are located in numerous locations across these municipalities.
For further information, call our main office (03) 9353 1011. We are open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
